I do not have any flight controller. Only controller I have is a 360 one and it is not plugged when I try and play. I only have the 360 controller, my logitech keyboard and logitech mouse plugged in.
Can you please manually run the following installers and then perform a clean boot before running the game:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dead Space\__Installer\vc\vc2005sp1\redist\vcredist_x86.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dead Space\__Installer\directx\redist\DXSETUP.exe

Still crashes, start it up, black screen and then stops responding.

It had me try and run the game in xp service pack 3, didn't help. It took a few mins for the game to open up a window and then it crashed right when the screen goes black just like usual. It will try and change resolutions and it will flicker screen and then crashes. A friend suggested that my graphics card might not beable to be detected by it cause it is to new as well as amd. Could this actually be the issue?
