hi i am runninng Win 7 on ASus N53SN, with GEforce gt550m with 2GB DDR3 VRAM, Intel® Core™ i5 2410M 2.3gh , 4GB Ram... I installed dead space from a purchase of EA value games edition. install app...

    Heya everyone,

    if you were affected by the "Invalid license. Reason code = Invalid Cipher (0x0006)" issue, can you please check the game in Origin again? A small patch should download and gameplay should now work again.

    If there are still issues afterwards, please uninstall the game completely, redownload it and then reinstall the game again. 

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

1. Right click the game Icon in Origin
2. Click on RESTORE THE GAME and wait for downloads to finish.

If you tried the above steps without any success, please next ensure that you have installed the latest Visual C++ driver's installed. Best way to install these would be by ensuring your Windows is fully updated. Additionally you can also check this page: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2019667

Another thing to try would be double checking the DXSETUP.exe has been installed correctly. Please verify by starting the installation once more. You can find this by navigating to the game directory and then to go this sub directory: _Installer\directx\redist

In there, you need to right click on the DXSETUP.exe file and choose "Run as Administrator".

Next, do the same thing in this folder: __Installer\vc\vc2005\redist applications

Depending on your operating system, right click the appropiate vcredist_x86.exe (32 bit) or vcredist_x64.exe (64 bit) file and choose "Run as Administrator" once more.

Did it all. Running Windows 7 64bit. 

 

There was no "credist_x64.exe"  in " __Installer\vc\vc2005\redist applications"  so I dl from MS ,copied into the folder, run as admin, stll get the license issue.
