dead space 2 - acquiring hacker suit

I am trying to figure out how to get the hacker suit on chapter 2 that is supposedly in the conduit room . i have done everything i think, but door stays locked - there doesn't seem to be a way to unlock it  ??? please help - i really want that suit   -thanks
