Dead Space 2 - Windows 10 compatibility issues?
My PC specs:
Intel Core I7-4790k 4ghz, 16gb DDR3 1866mhz
Sapphire tri fan OC r9 390x 8gb GDDR5
120gb SSD
1tb Seagate 7200rpm HDD
Windows 10 64bit - Full License
Z97 gaming motherboard
Corsair Bronze 750w PSU
I can launch Dead Space 2. It'll load to 1024x768 resolution menu, so as you can understand, it looks murky. When I change resolution to 1080p and crank up the details to max, the screen goes blank and the game becomes unresponsive. The menu music continues to play though and I have to ctrl-Alt-Del (this is awkward, especially as the game decided to outright overlap my windows screen).
I'm guessing that there is some form of compatibility issue. 2 questions:
1. Are EA going to possibly fix this? Being a 7 year old game, it wouldn't surprise me if they told me to shove it
2. Is there a workaround?

max compatible resolution is 1680x1050 60Hz
competition resolved this problem just run the game from their platform first time automatically will corrects errors when verify direct x and VC
is a little lacking in libraries when it comes to 1080p resolution for older games
now i can launch dead space 2 using the resolution 1920x1080
