Dead Space 2 activation code invalid

Hi,

I have the DVD PC version of Dead Space 2 installed. I have tried to start it for the first time and get an error message. When I go to the online activation window and enter the serial number I get this message,

"The serial number you entered is invalid. Contact customer support for more information"

However, the serial number is the correct one that is found on the back of the user manual.

I have disabled my internet security and restarted in safe mode with no result.

Could you please let me know how to resolve this issue.

I have seen on the forums that there are many unhappy customers already with the same problem, none of which seem to have found a solution. I don't want to be one of them as I would like to continue to use your product.

I had the same problem, last march when I purchased this game. I contacted Origin support and they gave me another key. All was fine after that.

Hi azarafael,

Have you tried to activate the code through Origin to see if the same issue occurs? Give this a try and see if it registers, and if it does try to launch the game again. It may ask you once more for the activation, but it should then allow you access to the game.

I purchase my game Dead Space 2 for PC DVD ( Portugal), but the serial number (acepted by origin) , in the activation process wizard fails “ The serial number you entered is INVALID ! Why ? Can you activate my game or send me a valid serial number ? I I have original game. Happy Holidays!

I had the same problem, last march when I purchased this game. I contacted Origin support and they gave me another key. All was fine after that.

my DS2 key code keeps getting rejected when I try to run the game for the first time, any suggestions?I admit that the font type and size could be better and maybe Im misreading it but I tried different possibilities and still nothing.
I appreciate any help.
