Dead space 2 doesnt recognize when disk 2 is inserted

In dead space 2 i finished the first disk and always get prompted to insert disk 2 though once i do nothing happens. I thought maybe it was my copy so i returned it and for another but the problem re...

They still sell the game, so they have an obligation to fix it.

Still no feedback after escalating the issue... anyone else has managed to workaround the problem? (without throwing away the game :S)
