Dead Space 2 launches to black screen then closes

Dead Space 2 not launching. Bought on steam loads to black screen then force closes itself. uninstalled and reinstalled on all storage drives running as admin still nothing. All drivers up to date. P...

Hey @SaltySchlonger Do you have any other programs or security software running when you attempt to launch DS3? If not can you try launching your device in a Clean Boot and check if this continues? If so would it be possible to get a DxDiag?

    No other programs besides steam which is where I purchased the game from. Launched device in clean boot nothing same result. attached is DxDiag

      Hey @SaltySchlonger To check can you try disabling any overlays like Steam, Origin, Discord and any others that may be running and check if this continues? 

      If so, can you try the following:

        Ran system file checker, tried different compatibility settings, windows and GPU are up to date. All with no success. No overlays running in background besides steam which I cant open the game without opening steam.
