Dead Space 2 Origin - Disable DLC

I have purchased Dead Space 2 through Origin and would like to disable all the DLC weapons and armour that are available for free at the start of game. I understand this is a frequent request, however I am only able to find workarounds for the Steam version. 

Is there some sort of mod that will correct this issue?

Is there a way to obtain the deadspace2.exe for version 1.0?

Is there a way to re-download the game without patching to version 1.1?

Is there a way to activate Dead Space 2 on Steam, allowing me to use the fixes available on that platform?

I appreciate any help in correcting this issue.
