Dead Space 2 save data gone

So I went to play DS2 and when I got to the menu screen I could only pick new game. I tried to verify integrity of game files but still no luck. I was at chapter 14

@Sonically3 If you check under Documents > EA Games > Deadspace 2 do you see any save files?

@EA_Illium hi, i have the same problem, i can't find the saves in the descripted directory.....Have i to copy the .DAT files in Documents > EA Games > Deadspace 2 from steam folder? Thanks
