Dead Space 2 servers broken

For over a week and a half now, the servers in Dead Space 2 have been completely broken. Every time after you press > on the title screen you are greeted with an error message saying “Unable to connect to the EA Servers, please try again later.” At first I thought this was a problem only I was having, but after asking my friends and many other users, they’ve all been having the same problem as well. I’ve also tried everything to fix it, uninstalled and reinstalled DS2, deleted my Xbox profile, restarted my internet as well as my Xbox One, but all to no avail. I hope EA fixes this because the Multiplayer is still quite active.

    I have been having the same issues myself, though mine is going through steam on Windows 10. I have seen several other threads here and reddit saying the same thing. Is there any updates or ideas from the official teams side for this?

    I had not, but now that i have origin installed it does not give me the prompt to link it with steam and i dont see anywhere in the ea account to do so either.

    I am also having this problem and have tried to link my Dead space 2 from steam and origin but can't for some reason either and as the others I can't play multiplayer either for some reason and I don't know why
