Dead Space 2 Wont launch Steam

Dead Space 2 Steam Fresh install will not launch. I have tried just about every option to fix the game I've found on the internet. Nothing will work.

@DHGFocalParsly Does the game not launch in task manager, or do you get an error message?

There is no error message and there is no process that pops up in the task manager. Dead space 3 also does not launch.
