Dead Space 3 co-op - Failed to join game

Hi,

A friend and I just bought Dead Space 3 to play together and we haven't been able to launch a co-op campain so far.

On the co-op screen we have the "Your NAT Type : Strict", and when we try to open the friend list, we got "Origin ingame unavailable" and it says that Origin in game is disabled yet the option is checked in Origin's parameters.

We tried all we could on the router's settings : opening ports, disabling the firewall, activating UPnP, activating the DMZ...

What should we do ? The only answer you gave on the forums is not working and lots of people have the same issue, yet it doesn't seem to even bother you.

We bought your game to play co-op, solve our issue or refund us !

    When either one of us try to host a co-op campaign game for the DLC Awakened, it always brings up "Failed to join game" when we try to join. Both of us have bought Awakened and are eagarly waiting to play. Any solutions?

    Hello, I have the same problem, We can play with frien in normal campaign, but can't connect in Awakened DLC.

    Is some solution for this problem, please help.

    Hello my fellow gamers, even tho I am a little late to the party, I just came on here excited to tell you how I fixed this issue.

    I was having very bad and irritating issues with the coop, we practically couldn't join each other ever and here is how we fixed it:

    1. You have to download windscribe (it's a free VPN on the internet) then run it

    2. Press ON and turn firewall OFF (in the app)

    3. Start Dead Space 3 and enjoy the coop!

    It really simple and it worked, but if it still doesn't work try to port forward, flush dns, disabling services etc.. basic stuff you can find on the internet and try again
