Dead Space 3 Co-op still "Failed to Join" a friends/siblings lobby (2023)

I know this is an old game but isn't there a solution for those of US not being able to join a friend/sibling just for the sake of co-op and having fun? I mean I can play with randoms but still I want to be able to play this game with my brother or a close friend, I live around Southeast Asia if that matters. I've also read a lot of Q&A's for fixes, tried every solution from firewall, ISP DMZ, to disabling NAT "Strict" to no avail and I'm starting to feel like I'm just wasting my time and to finally just accept the fact that I wouldn't be able to play this one with them. If there's no solution around, why can't EA just release a quick patch/fix for the game instead, like they did to integrate the EA app for the game?
