Dead Space 3, Crashes and False Files, Need Help..

Can Anyone Offer Any Advice On This Please...?

 

I have this game on Origin, which is now the EA app, and having been having this issue for a long time now.

I start playing and all goes well for a while and then it crashes. Usually while playing or when I save to exit. What is happening is this.. There are 5 save slots, from 01 to 05..

Now say I am using the ds3_v1_slot_05, when it crashes I see that the game stopped saving on THAT file and created a NEW ds3_v1_slot_00 file, OR one with a long number like this ds3_v1_slot_852314347.

After creating this false file the game WILL crash soon after, and immediately if I save and exit, and the game cannot be loaded from these files so I must delete those false files and then I am left with the 05 file, which because it was no longer being used means I have lost a lot of gameplay..

This just goes on and on. I "could" of course scrap the saves and start again, as these are NG+ saves, but that means going through the tedium of getting all the collectibles again which is a real PITA and may not even fix the issue..

Has anyone else experienced this issue and maybe have a fix for it.?, as this is preventing me from playing this game...
