Dead space 3 dlc awakened not launching

My dead space 3 normaly was fine and didnt crash at all no bugs nothing. But I recently brought the awakended dlc and to my suprise it no longer starts. Instead it launches goes to a black screen and crashes I dont know why this is happening please help!
