10 years agoThese are the official requirements, and they aren't at all demanding, save for not supporting any IGP video devices:
Minimum System Requirements
- Processor: Intel : Pentium D 840 3.2GHz, AMD : Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core BE-2300
- Graphics Card / GPU: Nvidia GeForce 6800 XT, AMD Radeon X1600 Pro 512MB
- RAM: 1 GB
- Operating System (OS): Windows XP 32 bit, Windows 7 32 bit
- Hard Disk Space: 10 GB
- Direct X 9
Intel's video chip doesn't qualify your system for EA support, is the reason for the error message, which results from not selecting the correct (Optimus) as the full time graphics device when playing games.

I've mostly given up on nVIDIA. Their pricing runs higher than needful, and they mistreat their laptop customers horribly. I have an old 9800 GT in a machine here, but each of my others have AMD Radeon graphics.
