Deep Space PC Game

On Chapter #5 (Lethol Devotion)-

 

I've gotten the second container and have to go back  through area with monsters, including one that doesn't die.   I don't have enough ammo to kill everything along with all those little face suckers.  I run out before door is hacked open and I die!

 

  Any ideas as to solution?
