Do I lose items when I replay a Chapter?
I'm up too Chapter 2 but I want to replay the prologue and get the artifact. But what I want to know is Will I lose my items if I do this? like any weapons I constructed or med kits I've picked up. ...
Do not be worried. Just reply those chapters through chapters select, let the game save your progress and then load your chapter 5 and continue playing. If I remember well, your stuff should stay in your inventory.
For the record, it's just chapter 5, Dead Space 3 has 19 chapters + Awekened, so it's not a big lost now, even if you playing hardcore mode. It's maybe 1,5 hour of playing from beginning, therefore take it easy.
Or if you still worried about your progress, go to your documents file, find EA games file with Dead Space 3, do copy of your save game and put it somewhere else. If all goes wrong this should help you to keep your save intact.
