[EA app] Dead Space 2 "Failed to launch game"

Hi, I'm having trouble starting Dead Space 2 on Windows 11 using EA App ("Failed to launch game. / An error our end caused the launch to fail. Try again little later.") I tried steps from: ht...

    Can you attach a DxDiag?

    Also, look at your Reliability monitor and attach this file:

    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Copy and paste "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in the new Window > hit “ENTER”
    • Look if it has entries for the game executable or EA app.
    • If yes double click at the last entry for the game executable or EA app, copy the info, and save it to a text file.
    • Once saved attach it to the thread.

I've managed to get Dead Space 2 in a seasonal sale on the other platform.

It works on Windows 11 after applying compatibility console fix (used both ProcessorCountLieXXX fields).

    Yes, please close the thread.

    I think it was some problem with eligibilities, as DS2 was available in my EA App, but didn't show in My Games on EA.Com website.

    Unfortunately, game needs to be run as an admin with Compatiblity console fix (fake processor number), but it doesn't impact gameplay.

        Hi,

        it's a shame that you close a topic because it's working after buying on another platform...

        There's a lot of identical tickets which were opened and closed without a solution : I'm in that case and don't want to spend money to rebuy a game because EA has a default service : that's their duty to fix it.

        Should we move to a class action to force them to have a look ?
