First person mod needed to play this series. [trolls keep out]

The question has been asked before in numerous other forums.  I don't know if this is the best forum to ask about mods, but this is about as official of a forum as I found.

Yes, fanboys/girls like their game.  Okay, you play the game the way you want to play it, don't force it on others.

I can't play Dead Space games with third person camera.  I tried, it just didn't work for me.  I was frustrated and did not enjoy the game, did not finish a single one of them.

I'm a seasoned first person player, starting with Doom in the 90s, then Quake, then Unreal games, Deus Ex, Crysis, System Shock, FEAR, Prey, Half-Life, STALKER, and many more.  

I have also played a number of third person titles, the GTA series, Max Payne, Hitman and Fallout 3, and probably several more.  It's worth noting that none of those games use the exact same claustraphobic over the shoulder camera like Dead Space does, these games have the character further away, zoomed out, while in Dead Space Isaac takes up the entire left half of the screen, really narrowing the field of view.  How staring at the back of the same guy for the entire duration of the game is supposedly immersive is beyond me.

GTA, Hitman and Fallout 3 have a first person mode that can be toggled.  For example, I played Fallout 3 strictly from first person, while some other players prefer 3rd person.  Game cutscenes, including VATS always showed my player from 3rd person, and that's no problem, because I don't control the player in the cutscenes.  THIS IS CALLED CHOICE.

I'm not a n00b.  I don't need to be told how games work or don't work.

I WANT TO HAVE A CHOICE.  I would very much like to give this game franchise a second chance, I'm told the story is good.  I need a mod to move the camera into first person position.  A minimalistic HUD would be great, but if not, I will settle for a toggle key to peek at Isaac's back.

Like I said, just because some prolific fanboys say they like the game in third person view doesn't make a good argument to not give other players a chance by providing a choice of camera.

I don't bash the game, I don't pick a bone with anyone.  I just want to try the game in he fashion suited for me (and many others who have asked this question before on other forums).

This applies to all three games in the series.

PS This is not about VSYNC, I turned that off when I tried the game and it removed the mouse lag, I'm talking about camera position here!
