[FIXED]Dead Space 3 press any key to start not working

Was a hardware issue, new keyboard did the trick. Just bought the Awakened DLC, go to play and the game refuses to recognize any keyboard or mouse clicks. I can move the cursor, ALT+Tab out of the ...

    very same problem on Steam with deadspace 2. Tried everything and nothing works. bugger. If there's a way to force usb keyboard recognition, please tell us.
