Frozen game bug

So I was playing impossible mode and I was a few hours into the game, and then out of no where I enter the shop and my game is just not letting me interact with any of the controls. No matter what I do, the game does not want to budge and let me move and interact with it anymore.

I am only allowed to click into the menu to pause the game and do anything I want in the menu section, but cannot actually PLAY the game. I don’t want to restart this all over again because of some bug that won’t let me do anything at all and continue. I’ve tried pressing circle on my controller (PS5 controller,) and messing around with the controls, and testing my internet and I’ve tried searching for videos or anything to fix this but I guess maybe I’m the only who’s had this bug???

my character is still doing his little movements while he looks at the shop, and there’s lights flickering in the background, but I cannot interact and control my game any longer. If anyone knows or thinks of a possible solution please help! I’m deep into the game and don’t want to restart all over again. Please help EA or anyone else! (P.S. I did not create a save in the past 4 hours because I wanted to save once I was leaving the ship around chapter 10-11, thank you.)
