Higher than normal PC Temps
I am having issues with Dead Space(2023) on my PC The temps on both my cpu 91 degress and gpu was hotter than normal and they are uncomfortably high and I have my AIO Cooler on performance. My game settings we on normal I had to turn DLSS on and ray tracing off, The Game ran fine graphically outside of that. My other issue I am also having issues with my keyboard not working with the game. I have a razer huntsman v2. I tried to plug in 2 different xbox controllers and those wont work either with the game. I have restarted my game, pc. including a new game file as well. I can only walk. I can't stomp or sprint. And when I picked up the plasma cutter it just stays up. Any insight on how to fix this? the only thing I have not tried to get the controller to work is unplugging my Keyboard and mouse entirely from the pc and booting up the game in BIg Picture mode on steam. After beating the game, the game now crashes right after the last scene of the game and right before the end credits roll. I have no other problems with the game until the that scene happens. I've installed the game on my SSD and have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX1660 Super card.265Views0likes4CommentsDeadspace Remake Still Broken
Just read through all 9 pages of the original forum addressing the crashing and BSOD issue with Deadspace Remake. Having found nothing of help there and seeing that the mods shut the forum down, am I to assume that EA decided to ignore a portion of their customers and just pretend it didn't happen? I bought the game on launch and have had the issue ever since. Generally just leave it uninstalled at this point but for some reason today I decided to drag it out, install it, and see if there had been a patch or any new fixes. The most recent posts I've seen on the subject were from early 2024 and they included no new news or potential fixes. I guess we can only assume that in true EA fashion, they have chosen their own best interests over those of customers who keep food in their stomachs and clothes on their backs. Once again we are swept under the rug. Truly shameful. Former EA Customer107Views0likes0CommentsDead Space Remake: Can not delete old saves, save game or load old save
I am playing Dead Space Remake on a PC via steam and using Steam Cloud. At one play session, I found that I could not save a game, load an old save or delete old saves. At the start of the game I was only allowed to continue the last game, if I tried to open a prior save, the game crashed SILENTLY. If instead, I continued the game and tried to to open a save station, the game similarly again crashed SILENTLY without any error message or workaround suggestion. If I turn off cloud save and then MANUALLY delete a sufficient number of saved games, I can then run the game normally. Unfortunately, steam cloud when re-enabled simply restores the games I MANUALLY deleted and the game returns back to the broken state. It is exceedingly impolite that the game crash silently, there should be an error message or at least an obvious and clearly stated log in TEXT, not binary that clearly describes the issue. I spent considerable time debugging this EA caused problem. it was not at all obvious that the problem was something as simple as having too many saves. But the question is why there is a silent crash? Is it not possible to look at the list of saved games and show a message stating that there are too many saved games? I agree that it doesn't help that Steam Cloud wants to restore the old games, but this is fundamentally an EA problem; to allow the game to silently crash is either exceedingly impolite or an egregious display of software ineptitude (possibly both). When will this GAME BUG be fixed?
