Community ManagerGo to Power Options in Windows Control Panel and set High Performance as the power plan.
In the nvidia control panel, under Manage 3D Settings, set Prefer maximum performance for the Power management mode.

Thanks for the quck answer but I figured that out on my own. But still I keep getting freezed over when I change resolution or turn v-sync off/on.
Community ManagerIn Origin, click on the Origin menu, Application Settings, Origin In-Game, set the Enable Origin In-Game switch to off.
