im having a problem with installing dead space 3.I get the message after 25% (a Distributable Direct x package was not successfully installed .Setup will not continue.) Is there a solution?

ok found an eventual solution and got the game working on me pc .Just had to install a redistributable direct x package on-line . Look for something on google search like 'Redistributable direct x package installation' . Click on any page that will be a link to the official microsoft download page and download and install the direct x package that is redistributable .With any one of em successfully installing from those download pages .Your game will pass the 25% progression where it stopped at this error message before .

i found a solution return the game from where you purchased them get a refund and dont rely on EA customer support any more .Their the worst of their kind.

Hi, my recent download of Dead Space 3 (part of the SimCity offer) is complete, but the actual installation of it is stuck at 25%. It's been like this for about 16 hours now. Does anyone know what is causing this or how to fix it?
I have received no error messages, and the option to pause or cancel the installation in Origin is greyed out.

  I had the same issue, it was stuck on 25%. then i reinstalled and the second time it worked. weird

so what happened was I bought DS3 from the humble bundle and I downloaded it and it stops on the installing bit at 25% please help me

I have this issue as well, A link to said direct x redistributable file would be helpful as there are literaly a billion direct x file pages on Microsoft (give or take a billion)
