Missing intro scene when playing in English language

    That is strange, i get the language box for every game i have. Can you try origin in english and see if that does make a difference?

Hi there

Try repairing the install of your game, maybe a file has been corrupted

To use Repair Install for your game:
Go to My Games in Origin
Right-click the game image
Select "Repair Install"

    Hi!

    Thanks, but I can't select "Repair Install". It only gives me the option "Deinstall" when right-clicking on the game image.

      That is strange, you have the latest version of origin don't you?

      Otherwise the only way to change the language that i know of is uninstalling the game, and then reinstalling it and choosing english rather than german

    Is there a way that I can reinstall the game so it uses English as default language? Like by setting the Origin Client Language to English?

    Because I don't recall the game asked me for language during install. It just finished downloading and then I could immediately press the Play button.

      When you first click install a box will pop up and ask what language you want to install your game in, screenshot below

      My origin is in english but this should not affect language options really

        A language selection box didn't pop up before I installed the game. The only thing I was asked for - when I was redeeming the game activation code - whether I wanted to use the activation code for the German-only or Multilingual version of "Dead Space 2". I chose Multilingual.
