Moving dead space 3 from my laptop to desktop

So I have been unable to download deadspace 3 on my deskptop so I tried to download it on my laptop and it has downloaded fine. However, my laptop is outdated and the specs aren't great compared to my desktop. I was wondering if it is possibly to just copy the files over to my desktop? I have actually tried this but upon clicking the deadspace3.exe launcher it opens Origin and then tells me that the game isn't installed. Any help would be nice.
