[Old Report] Dead Space 2 - How to remove DLC?

Hello, there is a All-Weapons-for-free-DLC included in my copy of DS2, and I would like to remove it because it just destroys the immersion of the game. How can I do that? Thanks!

    Solved it:

    Replace the deadspace2.exe with one from the version 1.0. [Removed - Admin.]

Solution removed by Admin.

Also, speculation exists that this solution will now result in an activation.x86.dll error. It most certainly did that with me.

We used to be able to download Dead Space 2 v.1 from Origin, with the option to update it to v1.1 version or not. What the heck happened, Origin/EA?
