@th3f0d4 Sorry to hear that your saves are gone. With this title, I am afraid that there isn't much you can do to restore saves from that long ago. If they were saved locally and removed, or not synced up with the cloud, there is no way to restore that.
You can do a search on your PC in the following location as this is where the saves are typically stored but if they are not there, the app won't recognize that they are there since it should have all synced up to the cloud with the EA App.
%USERPROFILE% \ Documents \Electronic Arts\
Windows also pushes OneDrive as well, so if that is installed, I would check that folder for saves.
A reinsatll or install should sync up if there were saves locally, however if it does not, you would have to start over.

Hi @th3f0d4, If they have theirs there but yours are not, they were deleted or overwritten. If they are synced to the cloud and don't show up, they are unfortunately gone. A reinstall would sync it back up, but on the chance it does not, I'm afraid you would have to start over.- 2 years ago
I just found one old backup HD and it had my saves, its a 2016 save, now i'm getting this msg: Slot 1 appears to be damaged and cannot be used. Is there any fix?

@th3f0d4 This error is a bit harder because it is a save file and those typically cannot be repaired as there isn't a lot of ways to repair it unless you can load a previous timestamp and start from there.
As there are no official workarounds we can link, I did a search online and DS isn't the only game that has that error but there are a lot of links on Google that have different workarounds for different games including DS.
I would suggest doing a search for "Save Slot 1 appears to be damaged and cannot be used" and start going through each link. Its going to be a trial-and-error issue on this one.
Cheers!
