Quicktime events not working.

I started playing Dead Space 2 again and none of the Quicktime events work. I can press E as much as I like, the QTE will fail.

These are gamebreaking during the cutscenes, for example right at the beginning of the game at the door in the mental ward.

Since the playthrough started (a few months back, with QTEs working), I only got a better graphics card, nothing else changed.

I tried many results I found online, forced V-Synch @60 fps and @30 fps, no dice.

Any help is appreciated.

    @CleWe could you please tell us the model of your keyboard and do you have any other USB devices plugged in to your computer (gamepad/joystick etc.)?

    Update:

    I've got a Logitech G15 and 10 other USB ports in use.

    Remapping the key to G worked. Mapping it back to E breaks QTEs again.

    Using a controller works, too.

    This is very strange, I might try a Logitech Deluxe 250 Keyboard.

    @CleWe so it seems to be related to your keyboard. Could you please try to uninstall your Logitech driver and check if it works if you use the keyboard without the Logitech driver software?
