Re: Dead Space 2: not listed in my Origin account library

I chatted with an EA support advisor.  The advisor said Dead Space 2 is currently hidden/disabled because there's a problem with the game and they're doing testing on it.  That's the reason the game doesn't appear in my Origin library.  The advisor said the problem will be "resolved soon."

    Ah ok. I wasn't actually aware of that. That would explain it then. Apologies for all the attempted troubleshooting. Hopefully, we'll have you back in Isaac's shoes soon 🙂

  • Hi, I have the same problem. My Dead Space 2 Collectors Edition EU-Version, for which I redeemed my Retail copy key long ago, is gone from my Origin library. No filters are set, no hidden games either. When I try to activate the key, it says, that the key has already been redeemed (of course it has been by me). It's also missing in the EA App, where are even more games, like Mass Effect 1 - 3 (not LE). Please help, I want to play the game. Thanks!

    PS: My brother's copy is listed in his Origin library, though. He bought it on Origin Store, not retail.

    I can see Dead Space 2 is on your account. Did you try all the steps I mentioned in this thread? Especially, the link I provided here.

  • @EA_Aljo Hi, yes, i already did that. And I think there are more games missing, redeemed from original physical retail version. Should at least all games under C:\ProgramData\Origin\LocalContent be in my library?

    Everything you've redeemed in Origin should be there. If none of what I've suggested works, try contacting an advisor with the instructions here.

  • @EA_AljoThe games that are missing are non-german retail copies (retail keys redeemed on Origin), since I only bought uncensored versions of the games.

  • @EA_AljoHi, I had a very helpful chat with the support yesterday and got some of my games re-registered. So the issue has been somewhat mitigated. My guess is, that, since I'm from Germany and the games that were missing were all non-german retail copies, the client doesn't "accept" them anymore. But there are obviously no problems with digital copies, though?

    It's possible that's the case. I assume the advisor couldn't get those games added for you?

  • Could I ask for assistance with Dead Space 2? Live support said it's out of their hands to update my retail bought Dead Space 2 since it's out of their scope. This was their reply - "see it is possible but there should be some exaptation case and as you have not purchase the game directly from us then it is not possible at this moment hope you will understand our limitation and policies so in future I would recommend you to always purchase game directly from the official developer or companies"

    I pre-ordered and purchased the game in 2011
