I had to start over about 3 times because of corrupted savegames so i started to copy my saves to a backup file.
I pm you a link to my savegames you only have to find the one you need and rename them like this
"ds3_v1_slot_01.sav_2" --> "ds3_v1_slot_01.sav"
and deactivate your cloud stroage until you need it
i dont know if they work with your game because i have the origin preorder version with tao volantis survival dlc
delete your save (or backup it) and start the game (use local stored saves when your asked)
this will delete the save in cloud storage.
now close game and deactivate cloud storage then use a savegame from me
now you can leave cloud deactivated or activate it as you need.
when this doesn`t work you have to start a new game.
as a little advice make a backup of your save and rename it everytime you see the autosave notification.
sometimes the cloud save is corrupted (don`t know why because local backups worked normally).
when you play a side mission you have to complete it without leaving the game because this can mess up your savegame too.
ps.: i dont know if my savegames work on other installations or on other game setups

Do you still have your savegames? i have dead space 3 on Origin and cannot get past chapter 5, waiting for the train/tram.
