I had my bot out out scavenging, don't remember if I picked up or if it had finshed. Next time I started the game the bot wasn't in my inventory or at a bench. I replayed the mission where you pick it up and I still didn't get it back. Like some of the others have said I think I may have joined a guy playing the Prologue, and that was when I lost it.

I'm no programmer but this seems like a simple problem to fix just allow you to pick up a new one on the mission you originally got it on if it's gone, but then again the game might not be able to tell if you lost it or just out scavenging. 

hmm i seem to have that problem as well, although its on the xbox version and i didn't know that coop could have triggered it, i started new game + and i was missing one scavenger bot, thinking it was part of the game because i think 3 bots are in the entire game so they take one out at new game + to not overflow your bot load, i continued on and got a scavenger bot where isaac dismounts the ladder in the terra nova, but then as i saved and quit, i lost a scavenger bot, and in my original save i joined 3 co-op sessions just to complete some missions in order to get the hostile enviorment suit, and i was also missing a scavenger bot.

Maybe Visceral should take a look at this?

I have the same exact problem!!!! This really sucks and EA will always take your dollars for scavenger bot "accessories" but it's been a month and it's still not fixed! This sucks. ☹️

Well, preety much nothing at all. I had just entered into chapter 11, saved and quit. Then I joined my friend's lobby (who was just starting his first playthrough) on the prologue, and when the game started, the bot was already missing. I believe none of the bots were out scavenging when I joined his game, but maybe one of them was scavenging before I did.

Well, having all my scavenging bots I suppose? The real problem is that I can't seem to get it back at all. I tried replaying chapters 5 and 8 which is where I got my two bots. When Isaac picks up the bot in chapter 5, it doesn't count towards my overall bot count, still stuck at 1. Then went to chapter 8 where I found the other one and its nowhere to be found, as is to be expected of a "unique" item, like circuits. So I can't get the bot back by any means necessary, and unfortunately the bot is a key part of gameplay. Ideas?

Happened to me too in pretty much the same manner. I have 2 scavenger bots and cannot recover the third regardless of replaying through the campaign.

I have the same issue but im missing only one, i still have two, i didnt join a co-op i did play the prologue though, because i had missed the artifact on the first run. ANY FCKIGN solution?!
