[Steam] Dead Space 3 new game+ rewards auto-unlock

Whenever I start a new save file I immediately receive rewards for completing Hardcore and Pure survival modes, despite not actually having completed them. Not only does this make me unable to start ...

I sorta fixed it. Created a new account and linked it to the game. The issue did not persist upon starting a new save file on the new account

@GarethTheUnlucky can you describe how you did that?
I have no problems on creating a new EA account registered to different e-mail but whenever I start a game from Steam my old EA account (old one, where all my games are) is launched automatically

I went to my old account's settings, then went to the "Connections" tab and unlinked it from steam. After launching the game, it gave me the prompt to enter my new account info.

  Yeah, everything including the DLC works.
