Unable To Download Dead Space 3 on EA App

Simply put, I just bought the game on my computer on the EA program. Trying to download it, but every time i try, it immediately pops up a "download error" where the download progress meter is. I've tried turning off my VPN, and every other fix on the EA help site for it.

Does anyone have any other suggestions I can try?  it will be REALLY irritating if I bought it and never would be able to use it.

    I'm having the exact same problem.

    Last night I tried to download Mass Effect Legendary Edition. It says "preparing" and then gives me download error. 
    I tried with other games in EA App, they seem to download just fine, but not this one for some reason.

    I've cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled EA App, cleared folders etc. Nothing works.
