Game still not fixed, tried literally everything, i am not an expert but from what i can understand in error raport the game closes itself because the application causing problem is mod manager, which doesn't exist on my computer because i unistalled it, cleared registry, reinstalled game, cleared origins registry and totally anihilated it from my computer to avoid problems, so if a game can't launch because not existing application is not allowing it, then it's .... interesting and frustrating, please someone who KNOWS this stuff and have some free time read the report i fully post in here, really reinstalling game reinstalling frameworks, or adding it to avg or firewall exception advices wont help, common fixes wont help, it looks like it's an indywidual problem which can be fixed by some non common but particular and more complex operation, that's why an expert is needed

I hate that you are having issues with the game. I am not as good as some others around here. But one thing I did notice in your crash report is loaded module ashwooka.dll, which is an Avast file. Avast is EXTREMELY well known for causing issues with DAI. If you haven't lately, then I would suggest you first repair the game files in Origin, then go into Avast and put in GLOBAL exclusions for DAI in your games folder, the Origin app, and the saves folder for DAI located in your my documents folder. This may fix your issue, or you may still have troubles related to the old mod manager install. Also, how are you launching the game?? Are you launching it from your Origin program library or are you using a shortcut on desktop or start button list?? Reason I ask, is it is possible that if you are using a shortcut then it may be linking to an alternate launch protocol..
If this doesn't work, you may want to also post a DxDiag file and maybe we can tempt @holger1405 to show up and show what true in-depth troubleshooting is...

Who dares summon me? 😬
😉 🙂
Happy holidays to you guys.
EventType=CLR20r3
CLR = "Common Language Runtime" which is a part of .Net
20r3 = indicates .Net. 4.0 or higher. (Also last LoadedModule in the list.)
But it is more likely that parts of the Mod manager still around are causing this issue.
I never installed the DAI Modmanager. So I can't tell were all the files are.
But here "C:\Users\user\Documents\DAI mod\Tools\Mod Manager\Main\Mod Manager v1.0\DAIModManager.exe" are a few left for sure. (Btw username "user" is a bit confusing.)
- Go to your "Documents" folder and delete the "DAI mod" folder.
- Go to your ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition" folder and make sure it has only this files and folders in it.
- Repair the game inside Origin.
- Reboot > Test
Removed Dai Mod folder, my dai folder in C\program files looks exactly yours except there is no this exe file with staged_stream , and game still closing on startup, there is new info in raport howewher, the keyword is " RADAR_PRE_LEAK" maybe it will help somehow, and yes my dragon age folder is in avg exceptions.
Merry christmas everyone
- holger14057 years agoHero+
Did you preformed the game repair inside Origin?
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Copy and paste "appwiz.cpl" into the new window > ENTER.
- Click on "Turn windows features on or off" in the left side bar.
- Look what .Net versions are installed at your computer. (Tell us which ones that are)
- Go here and read the guide.
- Then use the ".NET Framework Setup Verification Tool" to verify the versions installed on your machine.
Also create a new DxDiag in text file format.
Now i am a bit confused because, when i checked on my programs list and this lists you pointed me to, i see i have only 3.5.1 and 4.7.2 frameworks installed, but then i checked with frameworks verification tool from this website you pointed me to, and it tells me i have all frameworks, yes i tried game repair inside origins many times in different situations like with game added to avg exclusions, not added, with mod manager installed and not installed etc. i add dxdiag file
- 7 years ago
Also if the problems would be with frameworks, that would cause problems in other programs and games too, and DAI is the only one in which i have such problems
- holger14057 years agoHero+
@Ariestil wrote:

But did you also preformed a repair after you deleted the mod folder, as I suggested?
Yes i did, four times
- holger14057 years agoHero+
Dar**, I forgot that you use Windows 7.
Please post the reliability report as you did before (in a text file preferably) or a dump file if you can find one.
Uninstall avast with the Avast removal tool > Reboot > test the game. (We must count out all possible error sources, and as @mcsupersport rightfully mentioned, avast is known for cousing problems with DAI.
Furthermore, clear your Origin cache.
All settings in Origin (only in Origin not in the games) are back to default settings after this.)- Close Origin completely.
(right click on the Origin symbol in the task bar > close) - Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%/Origin" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
- Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for the "LocalContent" folder.
(The "LocalContent" folder must remain untouched.) - Delete the "Dragon Age Inquisition" folder inside the "LocalContent" folder.
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste "%AppData%" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
- Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming" folder.
- Delete the "Origin" folder inside the "Roaming" folder.
- In the address bar of your Windows explorer click on "AppData".
- Open the "Local" folder.
- Delete the "Origin" folder inside the "Local" folder.
- Restart your PC. > test
- Close Origin completely.

What the firetruck, the game started to launch and was opened longer than usually, but then origin told me that he needs to update it, and * it again... so i did your instructions again with closed auto -update option but origin auto-updated it anyway, seriously, who needs such * platform which ruins everything, it's 3 months already i try to clean this stuff, and nothing is working, not only they created such platform but took money for it, it's like i with no medical studies would go now to hospital, entered surgery, took surgery knife, stabbed it into patient liver and wanted 10,000 dolars for it, Bioware you made a wonderful game, but what you did with platform is a joke
- 7 years ago
When you say you want reliability report you mean msinfo32, dxdiag or windows error report?
- holger14057 years agoHero+
WER, msinfo32 would be good as well, but you should edit personal info (IP etcetera.) out.
Also post your "Client_Log.txt" from under "C:\ProgramData\Origin\Logs". (%ProgramData%\Origin\Logs)
Do you have crash dump's (*.dmp) of DAI or Origin under "%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps" or under "Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Temp"?
If not:
- Press the Windows key and "X" at the same time.
- Left click on "PowerShell (Administrator)" or "Command Prompt (Administrator)"
- In the PowerShell or Command prompt window, at the prompt, copy and paste "reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\LocalDumps\devenv.exe" /v DumpType /d 2 /t REG_DWORD" (Without the quotes).
- Hit "ENTER" (The success of the action should be displayed)
- Open up the game until it crashes. (wait a minute after it crashed)
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Into the new windows, copy and paste: "%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps" (Without the quotes) > Hit "ENTER"
- Load the DAI dump (*.dmp) up to a free file hosting website. ("Dropbox" or "OneDrive" for example) and post the link here.
You can revert the automatic crash dump creation by running this command: "reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\LocalDumps" /f" (Without the quotes) in an elevated PowerShell or Command Prompt session.

I post 2 things, one with origin client log and one with all errors from msinfo32 considering my dragon age inquisition problem only, i am trying to open this crashdumps but it tells me i don't have it anywher, after i followed your instructions

OK, we have to clarify a few things.
The original problem was related to the remnant Mod Manager files, the error message is clear on that.
According to your OP the game did run flawless until you installed the mod manager, correct?
Avast is not reinstalled?
After the "Client_Log.txt" DAI moves to launch status.
There is no DAI or Origin Error message after we got rid of the remnant Mod Manager files, inside the msinfo32.
(Which is a problem because it makes this into a guessing game.)
However, a BSOD occurred at 2018-12-24 21:17. Did this BSOD occurred as you tried to launch the game or at any of the troubleshooting steps?
Please load the "C:\Windows\Minidump\122418-11684-01.dmp" up to a free file host side and post the link here.
The fact that there is no crash dump after following the procedure indicates that DAI no longer crashes, but simply doesn't start.
- Make sure Origin is closed.
- Uninstall Origin over the Windows control panel.
- Download this version of the Origin installer.
- Run the "OriginSetup.exe" as an Administrator (Right click the "OriginSetup.exe" > Run as an Administrator)
- Reboot.
- Go to your "Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age Inquisition" folder and move the "Save" folder to your Desktop.
- Test.
If that don't works, preform a clean boot and test the Game in clean boot mode.

Last time i used avast on this comp was 4 years ago, now i have avg antyvirus only, yes the game doesn't looks like freezing or crashing, when i launch it,it simply remain on first screen like for maybe 4 seconds and closes returning to desktop
- 7 years ago
I tried that already, didn't work
- holger14057 years agoHero+
avg is as prone to DAI problems as avast, you should uninstall it as well.
If DAI goes to the start screen it is crashing. Are you sure there are no other entries in the msinfo32?
Did you double checked the Dump folder?

In general:
I know this is frustrating, but in troubleshooting the order of things are important. You did this things before we preformed other steps, so doing it again is not a wast of time even if it don't works, because then we both know what was done at which point. If you are not willing to do what I suggest, or answer all my questions, we both are wasting our time.

I mean i tried that already before but ofc, i did it one more time again after you instructed it, i have avg antyvirus and pc tune up program, but i already tried uninstalling it and launching the game, i can try that one more time now, when situation is a little different

Thanks, and please do.

As said before, if the game goes to the loading screen, it crashes.
And if it crashes there should be entries in the performance monitor, in the msinfo32 and a crash dump should have been created.
Please post a complete msinfo32, (Without the IPs) and double check the dump folders and the instructions for the creation of the dump.

idk, how to edit msifno with it's original viewing device, i can modify it with note, but innit idk, which values to modify(can't find ips in there), also it's entirely in polish, so idk, if you will understand anything except device names in english and keywords in windows error reports, when i try to upload this dump file to host file side it says acces denied, i set to launch it with admin rights, but it still says it wont, i installed mod manager 3 years ago first time, started causing problems 2 years ago, i had a personal case with EA, one of the mods was crashing my game during jaws of hakkon dlc walktrhough, and all saves were corrupted, maybe if about msinfo , maybe i will just send it on your mail?

For the dump file.
Zip the file with Winzip or a similar program. For the msinfo32:
PM the msinfo is fine.
About polish.
My wife is from Poland, so I will have a translator. 😉

What the.. there is no option in private message to insert file, also i can't find where is the dump file now... Seriously the world is protecting itself from me playing this game like i would be creating new type of tactical nuke bomb playing it, i guess i will not play in my favorite game which gave me alot of inspiration for my life this year

It almost seems that way. ☹️
Without specific info the only way forward is to eliminate error sources.
- Press the Windows key and "X" at the same time.
- Choose "PowerShell" (Adminisrator)" or "Command prompt (Administrator)"
- Inside the "PowerShell" or "CMD" window, at the prompt, type or copy and paste "sfc /scannow" (Without the quotes) > ENTER.
- Post the concluding message.

The translated conclusion looks like:
"Protecting of windows system resources function didn't find any integral leaks"
