Able to import DAO save file to DA2 without internet?

Well I was going to do a complete playthrough of the Dragon Age games, but it wont allow my PS3 to connect to the EA servers "Seems DA2 connects just fine". Was wondering if I play DAO and DLC without connecting to the EA servers will it allow me to import my save to 2 without KEEP? I'm hoping once the save file imports to 2 the rest will just upload to Keep naturally.

The Keep was created for Inquisition and didn't exist when DA2 came out. Save import from DAO to DA2 uses locally stored files.

I can't guarantee that your character profiles will update to the Keep for use in Inquisition, but you have to make all your choices manually regardless. The Keep only ever imported basic data from DAO and DA2, like character portrait, name, gender, class, etc. but no plot flags. DAI in theory uploads all plot flags to the Keep, but often it just doesn't work very well, which is why it's useful you can do everything manually.

As far as I know, DAO and DA2 never used the keep for importing data. So you SHOULD be able to use just direct transfer if on the same console/computer to play. If not, then there will be issues, but it sounds like you should be able to do it fine. IIRC on PC I had to choose a save file to import the data to transfer.
