I have a brand new computer with the latest NVIDIA drivers and a very good graphics card . When I bought it, I made sure that all the games I like will be playable and according to the game specifications, my computer exceeds them by far.
Your dxdiag says you have a Geforce GT 730. It's an entry level graphics card with performances similar to the Geforce 8800 GT, which is the absolute minimum for this game. It's not supposed to run the game smoothly.
Still, if you have worse performance after saving, I expect there may be a second underlying issue. The dxdiag is cut off at line 70. Could you post the full file?
Sorry about that 🙂

I see you have two identical hard drives. What happens if you install the game to your other drive? Or, since the issue is triggered by saving the game, if you just move the save folder to the other drive? This would rule out a hard drive issue.
To move the save folder, it's probably easiest just to move the entire Documents folder. Here's how you do that: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/redirect-folder-new-location#1TC=windows-7- 10 years ago
Well, I tried it, and unfortunately it made no difference ☹️

@zalako Do you actually have 2 separate hard drives, or do you have one which is partitioned into two? Not sure how that would show up on a dxdiag, but given their odd sizes and identical model, I thought it was worth checking. If you have one hard drive partitioned, moving the save folder unfortunately won't rule out an issue with the hard drive.
