Alpha Quillback Spines
Ive spent hours looking for the third Spine for the Artificer quest. Ive searched all over the map, kill countless of normal quillbacks but nothing helps

I found the last alpha quillback in the northern part of the map. What you have to do is capture the keep first. Once you do talk to the captain and you'll get a mission for investigating darkspawn in the area. Follow it till you get to the second poison pits. You'll need to go to the war table and build another bridge and then when you cross it an alpha is on prison road on the other side.
I did that. The one in the canyons is the one I cannot get to spawn.
