"App timed out" Error when trying to start up Dragon Age: Inquisition from steam

SOLUTION:
Steam account was linked to deleted EA account. EA support was very helpful and helped unlink my steam account and I was able to link it to my current one. Steam then could run the games without issue.

Hey there, I noticed in the screenshot that EA App is logged out in the background. Does it automatically log you out after the error message comes up?

Have you tried running EA App as admin, keeping your account logged in, and then launching the game on Steam?

Sorry that I am only just now getting back to you. I am actually logged in on my EA app, the error still looks like that for some reason. I tried running the app as an admin while opening the game as you suggested and it did not change the result. I also downloaded another EA game on steam, "Dragon Age II," as a test and I encountered the same problem.
