Armor skins and Digital Deluxe Adition armors and weapons

Why do heavy armor types look different on my warrior than they do when I equip the same armor on the grey warden? When I equip it, it looks like rogue armor but when I put it on the grey warden, it looks like breast plate with heavy shoulder...

Also, why did I buy the deluxe edition when the dragon armors and weapons are worse than stuff I can make? I just arrived in skyhold and I can craft new dragon sets but the armor only goes to 155 and I can make vanguard that is 173... same goes for the weapons... I can make a better etched great sword. I've been able to make these long before getting to skyhold...

Why does the dragon armor look the same for all classes?
