Audio cutting in/out

Anyone else having issues with this? The audio will cut out for a second or two, then come back. My drivers are up to date, I've tried TV/Home Theatre/Headphones with several different sets of speaker...

I seemed to have fix this problem for myself, I have a AMD Phenom II x4 3.2ghz BE, overclocked to 3.5ghz using the multiplier. I noticed my brother didn't have the audio issue with almost the identical computer and exact same processor, the difference was his was not OC'd, i set mine back to stock and my Audio issue has vanished here's hoping it stays that way.

Ok, I tested it and CPU usage didn't seem to change much it fluctuated from 66-70% while active. I tried disabling all other sound devices even the microphone. I have even tried different headsets and still I get the stutter. I have tinkered with video settings, I have cleaned the cache, I have tried being offline but nothing seems to fix it. It is still playable but those little glitches are driving me insane. Makes me want to throttle Sera even more than I already do.

I should mention that my primary headset is a Logitech G930 and it is setup for 7.1 sound. I have zero problems with sound from any other game, streaming or video. Its only DA:I.

OK. First I want you to go to Control panel-> sound-> and change the sound format from 7.1 to stereo and tell me if it fixed the problem.

Second: When you disable the audio deices you need to do it through device manager. Go to control panel-> device manager-> sound video and game controllers and make sure all are disabled but the one your headset i pluged to.

Ok, I only have a 7.1 option, I do not have the option to switch to stereo for my headset.

OK disconnect the headset and try what I said.
Also did the diabling helped?

Yep, set it to stereo and turned off the devices from the device manager and still stuttering, I thought for a second it worked but all it did was delay the cycle so it started about 30 seconds in rather then 10 or 15 seconds.

Do you have FPS drop when it happens?

No, FPS seems to hold steady between 50-60 FPS, I have also tried tinkering with video settings to reduce load to see if that helps but to no avail. Would it help if I poseted DXdiag or anything like that?

actually, I take that back, there is a very brief drop of about 20 frames when the sound effects cut out out and then back again but it is very brief I must have missed it. I have tried tons of settings and all of the suggestion of emptying caches, turning off all devices, reinstalling the drivers, etc.

Oh, well that bandaid was definitely temporary. I have the audio stutters again. It doesn't seem as bad as before but it's there especially when attempting to close rifts.

Yes, I REALLY notice the sound effects stutter when closing rifts, it just cuts out and then once the rift pops closed the sound and everything heads back to normal. Very weird.

The sad part is that I am sure it is low priority because the game is 'playble' but my immersion is really faltering. It is like just as I get pulled in I get bounced back again. It's almost like they are playing the "I'm not touching you game" just enough to cause anger and frustration. I hope someone finds a magical solution at some point.

I have still had no luck but really hoping that someone from Bioware or EA will have a response of some kind soon.
