Battle of Denerim Game Crash

In the Battle of Denerim in Denerim City Gates after the fight I'm supposed to talk to Riordan but every time I click on him the game freezes for about 3 or 4 sec. then crashes. I've disabled my mods and dumbed down the graphics and it still crashes. WTF?
