If it's the Waterfall cave you're referring to go inside the cave and head left, jump over some rocks while searching and the energize wand will appear and you seal it. What's funny is it only seals part of the cave, not the entrance to the cave. When you go out you will see two Hurlocks coming up the river, just kill them and move on since they have nothing to do with sealing the cave.
