Bug with who is chosen to be Divine? SPOILERS
So I have played through What Had Pride Wrought and the rest of the endgame twice, once in patch 1.01 and once in patch 1.02, and even though I [ Spoiler ] I am playing on PS4. Thanks for any advic...

I just replayed 100 hours of content to try to make Leliana the Divine, and failed. Can someone please give me an outline of what I need to do to get her to be the Divine? This is now my fourth playthrough and I have made all sorts of changes and it is extremely frustrating that I can't get this outcome. I've tried both "harden" and "soften" in the Valence mission, but I don't really get that. I've talked to her constantly, I ignore everyone else. I just don't get it. Do I need to give her more war table missions? I would murder Vivienne before letting her become Divine again but the game won't let me. Come on! Someone please explain what to do.

I have always softened her, by making sure I talk to her the three important times and doing her personal mission and having her forgive/release the reverend mother, but I have managed to get her as Divine both of my complete play throughs....I guess I just got lucky with my convo choices.....Wiki maybe can help you out...see link above.
Down at the bottom, it does say to make sure you have completed her personal mission before the end of the game, which is easy to miss.
The wikia breakdown makes it all clear, albeit extremely complicated and ongoing throughout your whole playthrough! Seems like in order to get Leliana Divine, the Inquisitor herself has to change. I probably keep getting Vivienne because everytime I play, I can't get away from certain attitudes towards the Chantry. Amazing.
