Caer Oswin Freeze/Crash

Game freezes/crashes in the middle of Cassandra companion quest "Promise of Destruction". It goes to black screen in the middle of talking to Daniel about Lord Seeker Lucius betrayal. Scene will go to black although dialogue wheel is still visible (but unresponsive to command). Pressing Esc also does nothing. Have tried restarting computer and "fix game" at Origin.

I checked and multi-sample alias setting is already off. Toggled graphics quality to low. Didn't make a difference.
ETA: Called EA Helpline. Not skipping any dialogue helped with the crash. Weird but it works.

Have you tried changing some less important graphics settings? I had a black screen bug that was only resolved by lowering the Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing setting.

I've played 55 hours and this was my first crash! Restarted the game multiple times and thought it was all over.
Changed my graphic settings from ultra to low fixed the issue first time.
I noticed in the cut scene it removed the red marks from Daniel's face... was it the demon inside of him doing this? :D
