I decided to do a rerun through the game. The thing is after my first stop at camp (you know after Lothering when your Warden gets the nightmare about the Archdemon) I went to Redcliffe to take care of the situation there. Once I've dealt with things and I get to the world map I try to go to the camp to sell my equipment and talk to everyone plus the gifts and all. But everytime I'm sent back to the main menu with a message telling me the area can't be loaded.So far I've tried to empty the cache and the good old fashioned way of quitting and launching again but no luck. Anyone else with this bug ? Did you find a way to make it work again ?I'm playing on Windows 10.

I fixed it !I deleted everything from My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age except for my save files and override mods since I knew they both weren't at fault here.Only problem is it seems I can't have my ultimate edition dlc. Tried repairing the game, uploading it's not reinstalling.

So updated directx drivers with the ones ine the games file, didn't help. I've tried running the game without mods didn't help either. Though, I probably should try without the override ones too. That should be fun...

I've made a clean install so it's probably nothing with the game's files and my Nvidia drivers are up to the last update. Did an update on the Physx driver too didn't help either still get the unable to load area thing. It's starting to get slightly frustrating.

Maybe it's the save file that's damaged. Would you be willing to upload your character profile and save file so I could try it? It's under Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Characters.

Restarted my computer after moving Dragon Age files from one place to another, found that it could be the source of the problem from datoolset wiki apparently the game is expecting the files to be in one place and is confused if it's not the case. Thought it couldn't hurt to give it a try.

I loaded your save file and a popup window did inform me of a bunch of DLC and mods that I don't have installed. I force loaded the save file and managed to get to camp successfully, so the save file is not corrupted.

Other than reinstalling, did you repair the game? This sometimes fixes issues that a clean installation doesn't. (Repairing the game is a different process depending which version of the game you have, so google it or ask away if it's unclear.)

Well at least it's one more thing we know it's not.
Nope haven't tried it I launched the repair right away, it erased my mods, I launched the game but still nothing I can't get to my camp. I'm running out of ideas
Update : Launched dxdiag in hope to find something wrong but I'm not really familiar with everything said in the diag nor how it could affect the game. So here it is hopping someone can make sense of it.

I just realized, i didn't check the "Always download content" in online options part.

Did you ? It fixed the problem with the DLC

Actually, I don't know where to find that option. Where can I find it ?
I did a workaround by finding the dazip files and installing it manually at least I'm pretty sure it worked.

Where do I find in the online options. Always download content. Can you please tell me I'm having the same problem. After I complete everything in lorthing I am not able to return to party camp. I click on it and it says unable to unlock area and sends me to main menu
