Can I import a Post Coronation Morrigan Re-romance save into Awakening and WH
Hello, the EA Live Chat Support referred me here.
I have the Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition on Steam and use Windows 7 64bit.
1. What is the nature of the problem you are seeing?
I understand that loading a manual save post epilogue (as opposed to the Epilogue auto-save) where Morrigan is re-romanced with the Golden Mirror will import to Awakening, but not Witch Hunt bug free of relationship flag errors.
2. When did the problem start occurring?
I believe after using a manual save from Origins in Awakening which is then used in Witch Hunt - I'll already have invested hundreds of hours by then
3. Where does your problem occur?
I believe using a manual save post epilogue will gain the 'ring epilogue' scene in Awakening, bu then not allow the Hero to follow Morrigan into the Eluvian at the end of Witch Hunt.
4. What are the steps in replicating the problem?
In Origins, I romanced Morrigan and performed the Dark Ritual. Morrigan then broke up with my Character (a mage) at Denerim's gates at the Final Battle causing a 'Friendly' Approval status. My Character said to her that he would look for her. Thus after killing the Archdemon, autosave recorded Morrigan's Approval at 100%(Friendly) as opposed to (Love) which we can call 'Autosave1'. Then post coronation, I started the romance again with the Golden Mirror in camp and made a manual save where Morrigan was now at Approval 100%(Love) which we can call 'Save2'.
So Save2 is my ideal situation, where I have gained Origins ring epilogue, enter Awakening in a romantic status with Morrigan to gain its respective ring epilogue and then enter Witch Hunt in a romantic position with Morrigan so my PC can follow her into the Eluvian. My concern is if there are bugs in the latter stage involving Witch Hunt where Morrigan does not recognise the romance and so my charactercannot follow her.

Not beyond the DLCs for Origins

Although the above claims the only way to avoid bugs in Witch Hunt is to use the Origins Autosave1, it is a year old and not for PC.
Any official word on if this has been patched would be much appreciated before I sink time into further Dragon Age.
