HI i'm new! my question is simple, can i play dragon age inquisition without origin access?

@cmramones No, you do not need Origin Access to play the game, you just need to own the game. 😉 You will need to run it through Origin and you will need internet access for some things (activating DLC, importing world states, etc), but you do not need the subscription service. 🙂

If you mean without the Origin program, No, not on a legal copy.
If you mean without Origin online, then yeah, after you download and I think you have to run it once to authorize it, but I am not 100% sure on that point, you can set Origin to offline and play to your hearts content. The only issue you will run into is lack of Multiplayer while Origin is offline.
Only other way I know to play without Origin program is to use a console game, ie PS3/4 or Xbox..

Can I check if you know where this misunderstanding stemmed from? I have seen some other posts recently that imply that Origin Access is mandatory, which absolutely isn't the case.
In case there's a source of misinformation on this we'd like to set everyone straight if possible.

i have already perched this game twice through EA, i switched service providers and no longer have access to my original email account. i did contact ea and was informed that i can not use the product code but once... i do have the game and disc, so is there a bat file or something i can run? i just play on the pc not online.
@flug666 Even if you play the game single player, the game still runs through Origin and is activated online, so is attached to your Origin account. You'll need to get in touch with customer support about changing the email address attached to your Origin/EA account. Often issues involving account security require you to call them (or if you're in certain countries you can request a call back, or at least that used to be the case).
I BOUGHT Dragon Age: Inquisition, and my EA Access has expired, and now I CANNOT play it! I am not happy about this implication!
hello there im from india & trying to play dragon age origins, EA did not release this game in india over gay sexual content or something but released mass effect 3 & andromeda, even sims 3&4 which also has gay content.
india recognizes same sex marriage, please get EA to officially release dragon age inquisition game of the year edition in india, if there is another reason for not releasing this game in india please explain.
that being said if EA wont do anything, im just gonna have to find 3rd party downloads.
Most people easily get around this issue by taking a VPN trip to another country or actually doing so and getting the game. Once you have the game on your account, you can then download and play it.
i was told my origin account migh get blocked or such, ill c what i can do, thank u anyway
