Can I retrieve Valuables I want to use again?

I put a very nice weapon I wasn't using in 'Valuables' and can't get it out.

Items placed in Valuables should be recoverable. Currently there is no way to rescue items placed in Valuables that I can see.

It was the Sky-watcher's Hammer, with really nice upgrades. All permanently in my inventory, but un-useable.

I can ONLY sell it, which I don't want to do. I wanted to keep it for later, not trash it.

This raises the question of why items can even be moved to valuables with upgrades still attached, with no dialog warning of the process being irreversible.

Or why it even exists. Clutter removal is OK, only if the items can be retrieved. Otherwise they should be destroyed or sold instantly.

If Valuables are clutter items and vendor trash, then why are they called 'Valuables'?

Take it a step further: why are there even valuables at all? They are only sold for cash, and have no puropse.

Except for the creature/research items whcih are useful and shouldn't be discarded, sold or destroyed.

Added frustration of Valuables not helping already cumbersome item system with crafting and micromanagement / clutter.

    Figured it out!

On your inventory screen, you can scroll down even more past accessories. Valuables is a menu line there, and you can select your accidentally "valuable" items by clicking a button that reads "Unmark for Sale"

Not super intuitive, but I saw the scrollbar on teh left hand side of the inventory screen menu and got curious.

    Hope this helps!
